Guess what time it is?!?!?!?!?! It's the getting close to the end of the school year, which means banquets are coming up. Our Chapter Banquet is this Friday and everyone is pumped.....or at least me and my friends are. We had our practice in the cafeteria this past Monday it was about 1 hour and 30 minutes long, but that is ok. I'm mostly worried about being on stage in front of 200 people I think is what Miss. V said. That's a lot of people, that's more people than I have on my Friends list on Facebook.

Fair 2009

Everyone loves the county fair, it has a little bit of everything for everyone in the family. This year I got to be in the fair showing the Chapter rabbit Brutios (no need to worry we renamed the little fella) but as my family calls him Gibbs. Gibbs is a Holland Lop solid Sr. Buck.....what does that mean well Holland Lop is his breed, he is one solid color, and his a boy and unclipped.

I know I havn't blogged in over 2 weeks my Mom informed me :-). I've just been so busy with ever thing that' s going on I just completely forgot about blogging. But I'll give you guys the quick overview of what happened at the FFA sub-districts last week. Taylor Kenndy took 1st place in middle school prepared speaking, the middle school opening and closing team took 3rd, and Rob Crittenden took 3rd place in tractor driving. I did not place in my prepared speaking, but there is still hope for are Dairy team. So that's what I have been up to in the past week :-).

Getting back on again and again

I set the record for the weirdest timing of falling off a horse at Mrs. Cindy's. I kid you not I feel off on Thursday and landed on a tree stump, then the following Thursday I was working in the Round pen and Belle spooked at something and I lost my balance and feel off while falling I hit the round pen panels!!!!!! Can you say ouchy?!?!?!?!? There is only two bad things about falling off a horse and they are landing on the ground and getting back on the horse. Mrs. Cindy and Daddy said it's a life lesson, if something knocks you down get right back up and try it again(This sounds like the craziest thing in the word, but it's true). So then the question comes if falling off Belle teaches me a life lesson, what does staying in the saddle teach me????????

OK I'm completely in shock at what happened this past Monday in class. I had just finished my ecosystem worksheet and went to talk to Mrs. V(new AG teacher) about AG Ventures, when she told me that due to actions of our present Junior FFA President she was having her titled taken away!!!!!! I felt really bad I had become friends with the President and know she might be upset. But then I had another thought Who would be the new Junior FFA President, with the meeting coming up on Thursday!!!!!!!!!!! Then those words came out of Mrs. V's lips "Katelyn, you're the new Junior FFA President". Holy Opaca, are they CRAZY!!!!!!!!!! Me the Junior FFA President!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was shocked out of my mind. I'm not a leader I'm a behing the scences kind of person. Not a Leader!!!!!!!!!! What in the blue blazes is God up to??????????? Doesn't he know I get super nervous and really sick to my stomach when I'm in front of a crowd?!?!?!?! What if I mess up?? What if I make a fool of myself in front of everyone????

Taylor Swift's second CD titled Fearless comes out on Tuesday!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy, I have heard the song "Love Story" (which is I my blog playlist) and I total LOVE IT. I can't wait for it to come in stores!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go Taylor Swift!!!!!!!!!!!!!
